Custom gym wear, defined before it is quoted

Turn a garment idea into a comparable factory quotation. Custom Gym Wear Sourcing helps business buyers align fabric, size runs, artwork and delivery scope before choosing a supplier.

Start with the intended training activity, quantity in pieces or sets, colorways and US destination. Material availability, minimum order quantity and timing remain questions for the proposed supplier.

One garment brief. Three comparison checks.

Fabric and construction

Ask for fiber content, knit construction and fabric weight in gsm. A fabric description such as stretch or quick-dry is a request to verify against the proposed item, not a performance result. Identify seam placement, waistband construction and any lining before comparing unit prices.

Size run and pack ratio

A size label does not establish fit. Provide garment measurements in cm or in, the measurement method, and quantity by size and color. A 240-piece illustration divided across 4 sizes and 2 colors has 8 order lines; it is not a stated MOQ.

Sample and quote basis

Request the sample revision, decoration proof, packaging basis and exclusions. Compare sample charges, artwork setup, freight and destination charges separately. A lower loose-piece price cannot be compared directly with a packed, delivered quotation.

Choose the route for your buying program

Gym or club collection

Separate staff apparel from member merchandise. Record the intended fit, logo placement and replenishment size mix. Sample approval should identify the person signing off on measurements and decoration; a photograph alone cannot approve hand feel or fit.

Review buyer scenarios

Private-label assortment

Keep the base garment specification distinct from labels, hangtags and carton presentation. Ask whether changing a color or print changes the order minimum. A budget preference may favor simpler decoration, but the same fiber content and measurement basis must remain visible.
